Aquarium Thrive fertilizer

Thrive aquatic plant fertilizer is an easy-to-dose supplement made of super concentrated materials. This liquid fertilizer for aquarium plants is based on an effective EI dosing method with all essential micro and macronutrients, designed to help aquatic plants truly Thrive.

Thrive fertilizer eliminates the need for multiple products to manage the planted aquarium. This all in one aquarium plant fertilizer includes an easy to use pump design for simple spill-free dosing, which makes it one of the best aquarium plant fertilizers.

Also, a GH booster may be added in cases of soft, mineral deficient water.

For Advanced Users: 1 pump(2ml) per 10g will add ~6ppm NO3, 1.1ppm PO4, 5ppm K, and 0.25ppm Fe

    Unless you plan to make your own ferts it is hard to find a product that works as well as Thrive. Thrive was a game-changer for my planted tank. If you are struggling with plant growth then look no further.

    I have used this for a couple of years now. I am on my 5th gallon of it. It is great. I dose it automatically 1 hour before the lights come on and start my co2 2 hours before the lights come on. This combo has worked great for me.

    This is my second order of Thrive – first bottle lasted about 6 months (I’m dosing 3x weekly). Used on my 40 gallon dirted low tech with mix of stems and heavy root feeders. Plants are doing exceptionally well with algae being kept at bay. The dosing pump is a very nice addition for simplicity plus Thrive doesn’t need to be refrigerated 3 months after opening.

    As others have mentioned, the killer aspect of this is the convenience of being just one bottle. Having a pump top is something I’ve always thought would be best for liquid ferts and this one works great. I have a somewhat new (>1 year) low-light tank and after an initial big growth spurt when all the plants were added things slowed dramatically. It was evident I wasn’t going to be able to get away with only dosing flourish carbon. First dose of Thrive showed results the same day. 90% of the plants with dropping leaves perked up. Algae has woken up some, too, unfortunately. I waited about 5 days before dose two and things perked up even more. But given the algae response I think once a week will be good. Summary: great 1-bottle solution for ferts. Mixing powders and multiple capfulls of multiple bottles is just silly in comparison.

    Ive used this fertilizer for over a year, in both a play sand planted tank, and a flourite planted tank, and had nothing but great healthy growth. I even experimented by stopping the fertilizer for 2wks, just to see if there was any difference, and my plants growth slowed down considerably. I do not use Co2 or grow lights, just a regular fluorescent light. I highly recommend!!.

    I am an experienced aquatic gardener, and have used dry fertilizers to make y own stock solutions for years. That certainly works. But Thrive is so EASY!!! Even when I’m away, I can safely tell care-givers “3 pumps in this one, 7 pumps in that one.” Results are undeniably good. I am recommending this products to all beginners now.     I have been using Thrive in my 46g low tech/medium light tank for 2 weeks now and I can already see a huge difference in my plants. Not only do they look healthier but they have a lot of new growth. I had been using all of the Seachem Flourish products and Thrive is not only easier to use but it works 10x better. I also got great customer service when I had a couple of dosing questions. I received a message back in less than a hour.     It has been a couple of weeks since I received my order. I haven’t noticed a major difference in plant growth as they were healthy to begin with and are slow growers, but I do love this product regardless. Gone are the days of having to deal with measuring and mixing. I also do not miss having to deal with the mold problem which always bothered me.

    I would definitely recommend this product to anybody in the planted tank hobby whether they are a newbie or a veteran with years of experience.

    Thrive is no exception to this, very impressed with the quality and ease of use to a single fertilizer to provide EI levels. I have been mixing my own from dry frets from NA for a long time but getting things consistent and stable for long durations can be tough when mixing your own.     I’m almost out of my first bottle, I switched from excel and have seen my melt problems with swords dissappear and new growth. Since using it growing plants has become easier and the plants thrive(no pun intended). Alage has almost totally disappeared but enough left for my guppies, platties, shrimp and octos to feed on. Plants are greener with strong stems and better roots. Will be time order more. Test it out and see the difference for yourself. Easy to use no mixing or messing around, just squirt in the required amount and see your plants become fuller and healthier. Crypts look great, java fern full of babies, I really can’t say enough good about Thrive. So you be the judge and try it out, I think you will be happy you did. I actually adjusted how much I used less and more to see if it mattered, I used a little less then directed and things are still growing well.

    Added this product 6 days ago for The first time..after 24hrs..I noticed that the BBA.WAS TURNING RED.And dying..after 48hrs I noticed My Ludwigia.was more redder ang sprouting new good looking leaves..so far so good…will update any good or bad things happening…

    I’ve been using this about two weeks. Previously I was using eight different bottles of SeaChem products. I got great results from those, but I love not having to haul out all of those bottles! Being that it’s been such a short time, I can’t say that this is “so much better” but I have not seen any negative effects on my plants. If the growth even stays the same this product will be worth it!!

    I’m not a chemist and I have other things to do than sit with little spoons and measuring devices concocting fertilizer dosings. Instead, I bought Thrive and a pack of the clay capsules and couldn’t be happier with the results; new tank and plantings but only two weeks into it and the plants/grass are exceeding my expectations at this point in the process. I am injecting CO2 as well, to be fair, but I firmly believe that the combo of these ferts and CO2 make my tank an ideal environment for my plants to thrive.

    On another note…I want to really underscore the great customer service the folks at NiLocG provide…emails are answered promptly with thoughtful responses the guided my selection…and they were spot on.

    This is the easiest and most effective method I’ve used yet. I didn’t want to be mixing and measuring, this is just 1 pump per 10 gallons. Growth increase is phenomenal. I was using seachem products, I run 6x 54watt t5 ho and co2. My Val’s have doubled in thickness, my swords are putting up a leaf a day, my red lotus and red stems are RED! I have 25 varieties in my 120 gallon tank, they have all improved. They were pretty good before, but now they are great! Thanks for a great product! I need a 55 gallon drum of this stuff!

    Well I have only been using thrive for a few days. I can’t give it 5 stars yet. But so far it seems to be working well. Would I recommend? Yup what do you have to lose? Thrive has been a crave for awhile. My plants have done just fine while being on thrive 100%. I believe it is shit hot and will continue to use it daily. It is simple to use which is like!!!! Just aim and squirt, no more syringes!!!!

    At the moment it is too soon to be able to tell any real difference in the plants in the tank. The directions and label are clear and easy to understand. The packing the product was shipped in was good and shipping was prompt. Communication with the owner was quick and easy and he answered my questions quickly. After a few weeks I’ll post another review once I’ve had the fertilizer going long enough to judge the results.
